About Me
Get to know more about my background, philosophies, and what drives me as a developer
Background
I'm Kshitij — a recently graduated Computer Science Master’s student from Syracuse University, where I explored everything from AI to operating systems to cloud architecture. Before that, I earned my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from NHITM, Mumbai.
Over the last few years, I’ve worked across backend development, cloud infrastructure, and security — from building REST APIs and streamlining CI workflows to conducting vulnerability assessments during a VAPT internship. My current focus? Diving deeper into DevOps and Cloud Engineering while building tools that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Lately, I’ve been focused on building tools that blend cloud, automation, and data sanity — including a modular Data Hygiene Toolkit designed to streamline validation and anomaly tracking. My approach is all about writing clean, scalable code while staying grounded in security and real-world usability.
My Journey
The Beginning
My tech journey started with a fascination for how things work — not just using software, but breaking it apart to understand what’s under the hood. During undergrad, I got into core CS concepts and started building small projects while learning the basics of security and infrastructure.
Python quickly became my go-to — I’ve used it for scripting, backend work, automation, and honestly anything that needed doing.
The Evolution
As I explored more, I started caring less about just writing code and more about where it runs, how it scales, and how secure it is. That naturally led me to DevOps and cloud.
In my internships, I built APIs with FastAPI, automated workflows using GitHub Actions, and did real-world VAPT — spotting vulnerabilities and thinking like an attacker to build better defenses. Every part of the stack started making sense as a system, not just isolated lines of code.
Today and Beyond
I’ve built tools that blend backend design, cloud infrastructure, and automation — including a modular data hygiene platform designed for scalable validation and anomaly tracking.
Moving forward, I aim to keep building systems that are secure, efficient, and easy to maintain — not just for users, but for the developers behind them.
“Every great developer you know got there by solving problems they were unqualified to solve until they actually did it.”
